Hi there, Kim!

Welcome to Weddingbee.

I have heard and given rave reviews of a man and a woman floral design.

One of my bridesmaids who is also getting married got her bouquet from them for under $100. Personally I haven’t decided if I’m going to use a florist yet or do my own, but I know these people do great work so I highly recommend them!

If they’re not what you’re looking for, here is a list of florists from D Magazine. here

Good Luck!

Hey! I’m using Apples to Zinnias and really like them. They’re maybe more mid-range, budget wise, but Juan Gomar has been great about giving me budget-saving tips and doing little extras to help cut down on the ultimate cost. I’d definitely recommend at least meeting with him to talk about ideas.

Hi Ladies,

I had a consultation with “A Man and A Woman Floral Design”…they were great!!! However I decided to go with Robyn and Katie at “Your Perfect Wedding by Di Fiori”…they were fabulous!!!

Check out http://www.weddingwire.com , its a great resource and includes reviews from brides

I also had a consultation with Bella Flora of Dallas…they were cordial, but I felt like since I wasnt having a platinum wedding there wasnt as much excitement.

Hope this helps!

@Mrs2theDR: I had a consultation with Bella Flora and I felt the same way! I had the feeling they’d have been happiest if I just kept quiet & picked out some pictures of things they’d already done. However, I keep seeing their work everywhere and they do a good job.

We like fête des fleurs, the owner is very nice and has lots of great ideas!

I can’t say enough fabulous things about Marion Marshall at Absolutely Blooming! I didn’t have anything specific in mind when I went to see her and she came up with some absolutely amazing centerpiece ideas.  She worked within my budget to find seasonal flowers and my bride bouquet was $100.  Marion had a great vision and I felt like the flowers and centerpieces were in very capable hands.  Here’s a link to her blog so you can see some of her work:

I second the recommendation of A Man and A Woman Floral Design.  The flowers for my daughter’s wedding were very fresh, they were reasonably priced,  and Andy is an absolute joy to work with.

Those places were a little pricey for me! The best deals I found for flowers were at Flowerama of Plano (I didn’t like the one in Richardson!) I’m getting 4 BM bouquets, mine, 14 bouts, hair flowers, cake flowers, 7 corsages, 5 centerpieces, and petals all for around $700, but they have some great packages for only $300!! The flowers are fresh, they stay nice for a long time and they are gorgeous!
