For my own wedding, I’ve been using I Do software — I only mention it because I believe they sell an option for professionals.  I don’t have experience with that version, but perhaps it’s worth checking out?  The regular client version has been an amazing asset!

For my wedding I’ve been using "Wedding Planner" by Summitsoft works on both Macs and Windows.  It has a WedConnect feature that allows a wedding professional and the couple or family members to work together via the internet to coordinate information. I will say that most wedding software I’ve played with isn’t really as cutting edge (this one included) as you’d probably like it to be, but here are the key points I use it for:

Budget worksheets

Design Table/floor layouts

manage gift list

direst links to vendors & resources

wedding calendar w/ to dos

staionary printer

guest seating & menu assignments

master guestlist w/ addresses & print options

The list really does keep going

Also, you can go another route… in my personal business I use a program call "Bento" just released for the Mac not sure about Windows? It’s the $50 database software for everyone!

 Info on Bento here:http://www.businessweek.com/magazine/content/08_07/b4071076622275.htm?campaign_id=rss_topStories

Good Luck!

I use My Wedding Organizer and I think they have a professional version. It has all the same features as listed above for Wedding Planner.

I’m using iDo as well, and I love it. It definitely feeds my OCD tendencies. Are you using it just to plan your own wedding or to start a wedding planning business?

And I obviously didn’t read your post closely. Yes, iDo also offers a professional edition.
