Need a new camera, advice please?

    I love my Nikon DSLR.  It really isn’t to bulky, well until you start buying the different lens like I have.  It is pretty easy to learn, I have had it for quite some time and am still learning on it.

    You should look into the mirrorless cameras – they are the size of a point and shoot but are 95% similar to DSlr cameras!

    If you don’t have the time/inclination to learn how to use a dSLR, they’re a waste of money. It’ll basically be a heavier & more expensive point & shoot.  I also have a Nikon dSLR & if you’re traveling for a while, you definitely notice the weight especially if you have more than one lens.

    i have a panasonic lumix also. it’s a different/older model than the one musician32992 has, but i love it! i’ve had mine for several years and it takes great photos. i’ve also dropped it a few times and it’s still going strong. here are a couple pics i took during my honeymoon in hawaii
