blankenshiptobe:  just got my S5 and I also love it!

I had BB for like 8 years and thought I’d never make a switch… but the camera on the Galaxy S5 is unreal! My work is swiching to a Google platform for mail, so having an android phone will be handy, everything is synced. I love the ok google/voice control, never had a phone understand me so clearly. Very handy in the car since I don’t have bluetooth.

I have vowed to NEVER own an iphone.

MissLibra:  I’ve had both a Droid and an Iphone.

Things I like about my current iPhone 4s –

  • It’s smaller than most droids. Fits in my pocket
  • Syncs with a lot of other Apple products

The reason I will be getting a Droid again when I upgrade – Compatibility. I liked that I could use the Droid like a mass storage device. I could put word documents, music, photos, etc. by just dragging and droppoing them on my computer. Apple is so locked down. You need iTunes to access anything and all music has to be converted to mp4s. So I now have two sets of music on my computer. Taking up twice as much room. I still need the mp3s to create cds, use my mp3 player for the gym, etc. You even need a special charger every time they come out with a new iphone. Droid has used the same charger for years.

I also like that droids let you use your own ring tones (from mp3s). Anything extra for the iphone you have to buy from iTunes.

Just my two cents. Other than that, the speed, reliability, and ease of use seems to be the same on both of them (to me).

I loved my iPhone for its simplicity and how well the software always worked without freezing or stuttering, but since the new software update Apple has managed to ruin how fluid everything works, even on my iPad. I shall be getting a Galaxy note 4 when it’s available at the weekend

I vowed never to own an iPhone but held a colleagues own phone about three years ago and loved how it felt. I love how it looks and works. Sorry but got to be honest, I’ve become a loyal Apple customer.

I have an LG L70 and I love it! Everything is great on it, except if I didn’t have a cover; the phone sometimes feels so smooth at the back that you’ll be scared you’re going to drop it.

I am a huge fan of Samsung phones, even though I love all my other Apple products. I’ve never had an iPhone, so I can’t speak to that, but I just replaced my Galaxy 2 for a Galaxy 5 and I love it.  The camera is amazing, and there are a ton of great features on it.  I haven’t a chance to explore it much yet, but I also like that it’s waterproof!  It’s pretty big, but I haven’t noticed a huge difference and it doesn’t bother me.

MissLibra:  lol the war on phones. i got a samsung GX4. its larger than an iphone but you get used to it right away. now iphones feel like phones for ants. im gunna be pretty honest:

1. you can download music for free. and my speakers are pretty loud

2. you can get it wet. without a case. even with the phone left slightly open, left out in the rain over night out side in alaska. it prevailed. you just cant beat that. i have split beer on it, taken it to hot tub parties, taken it in the bath to watch netflix.

3. run out of room? no prob buy an extra chip.

4. camera is awesome. never had issues. and i dont even need instagram to make my shit look a little cooler. you can alter a lot on photos. its almost got its own shop on there

5. i like the size now. mostly for photos. my friends with iphones will try to take a photo of us all and we just dont fit. my SG4 can take larger photos.

Interestingly enough I can’t pronounce my phone. It’s a Huaweii?? Anyway, it runs on Android (you can get the most up to date OS but mine is a year old). I love it, I have it on a pay-as-you-go plan so it’s like $50/month and I have unlimited data/text/calls.

It was only $170, small enough to fit in my girl-pant pockets but has quite a large screen. To me it’s just like any other Android aside from the embarassing Trac-fone logo lol

MissLibra:  I love my ipad but I will never buy an iphone.. I just love my samsung galaxy too much! I went from a blackberry to an samsung s3 and now I just got the s5. Yes the screen is huge but I actually like that! It is so easy to text and read articles on my phone! The android is so much fun and it allows you to completely personalize it! I can honestly say I have never heard of anyone being disappointed with an android!

I really love my Iphone5s. I’m not a fan of how huge the Galaxy is. That’s the only reason why I don’t have a galaxy not other reason lol.

I have never had ANY problems with Iphone.

I have the galaxy s5. Great phone, waterproof, all that. It seems big at first (I have tiny size 4.5 hands), but it seems like it shrinks after a while. I absolutely love it. If you are thinking about getting an iPhone 6, I’d suggest waiting a little bit until they work some of the kinks out that are happening right now such as pulling people’s hair when they use it. Nothing against Apple mind you, just probably worth the wait.

But the s5 does rock!

MissLibra:  I have a Galaxys5 and it’s alright. It’s big…that’s what it hate about it. I don’t really watch movies, play games, etc so I can’t comment on anything like that. Just text and calls,Web surfing and the like. I do like that it’s waterproof bc sometimes I will use it in the shower…is that weird?

I used to have a windows phone ad I LOVE it. HTC 8x but they don’t make it anymore. The Lumias they make are awesome:)

My fiance has the HTC one m8 and he loves it! Good luck!
