I actually did exactly that (though it was all a "surprise"). Appetizers at my place, dinner at Moxie's, bowling and then ended at a pub. We drove everywhere in a limo. It was a LOTS of fun and very much, "me".
@CherryWaves: That sounds like it was fun! I think it'd be a blast to get a limo, I just don't want ppl to have to shell out for one at the last minute, ya know? It would be easier and everyone could just crash at my place but they're expensive!! I discovered that when I was looking at companies for my wedding lol.
I was excited for my girls to take me to a glass blowing lesson where we could all make our own Christmas ornament (my thing) and other options were a cooking class, a knitting class where we all made scarves that were sewn into a blanket for me to finish the class, and of course some ridiculous stripper showing up at anything with Grandma there :)
I also love the idea of a Hanky Panky party...my only must have panties, each girl brings a pair (or several) in their favorite color...i'll be pampered with new panties that I will for sure wear! You could go crazy with the theme too! a monogramed hankercheif (hanky) as a play on words??

I was planning a trip for my bach party but my fiance and I just moved our wedding date up a year and a half so I need a new idea for something easy to do this coming March. I was thinking maybe meeting for dinner somewhere cheap like Red Robin, then going bowling and ending up at a bar? I want to do something fun and active! Although I love low key activities, I'm trying to stay away from things like sleep overs, spa days and wine tasting. I don't want very much planning to have to go into it beyond getting a DD since it is last minute; no limos, no party decor/supplies. Just a group of friends all hanging out! I wouldn't mind ending the night with movies and popcorn, but I'd rather be out for most of the evening. Ideas?
