I’ve been using Maybelline Turbo for a while now, the waterproof one (it’s a black and red tube), and I’m really happy with it.  It’s thick enough to work, thin enough to not clump, and lasts through crying with no problem (I wore it through my dad’s funeral, and at the end of the day it was 100% intact- funny the things you notice, but I thought later on “hey, this will be good for the wedding I guess”).

Covergirl Lashblast Volume (the big orange tube) in waterproof! It’s all I ever use anymore! I live in Texas so heat and melting makeup are huuuuuge. I’m very picky about my waterproof products. I used it on my middle-of-summer, 105-degree wedding day with no problems!

@JennyPPB:  If you like the mascara you currently use I would buy the waterproof version of that.  Waterproof mascara is only damaging if you use it for an extended period of time.  It look me five years of waterproof mascara before I had any problems.

i’ve always used maybelline great lash (pink tube) and have used their waterproof mascara on occasion, including my own wedding day.  it’s great.  it’s inexpensive, never runs and isn’t a complete bitch to remove.

I wore false eyelashes on my wedding day and used DiorShow waterproof mascara on top of them.  It worked perfectly.  And it comes off easily with a makeup remover cream.

I used Maybelline GreatLash on my wedding day. Ordinarily, I am a hardcore fan of Clinique Naturally Glossy, and so I tried out Clinique’s waterproof mascara, but was disappointed. Maybelline GreatLash was amazing, and went on beautifully, and didn’t budget all night.

I like the YSL Faux Cils. It’s the most gentle waterproof mascara ever.

I have worn waterproof mascara now for years and years. I’ve tried them all, from the expensive ones to the drug store brands. My favorite is Voluminous by Loreal. The waterproof still feels gentle and never clumpy or thick.

CoverGirl makes one in a blue tube that has been around for quite a while; it’s waterproof with a straight brush and the “Very Black” really pops.  I scrape the brush against the top of the tube to remove excess, then blot with a tissue before applying and it stays all day, even in Texas weather.  Easy to remove if you use an oil based remover – I use Maybelline’s in the blue bottle (oil free) with just a drop of the oily one (pink bottle) on top.  Have used these products for over 20 years and in even though I’m in my 50’s, still have lashes that earn me compliments on a regular basis.  Good idea to experiment before your big day!

I just had my wedding on August 25 (yay!), and I couldn’t believe how well my makeup stayed!  It looked like I had just applied when I got home!  I cried, danced all night, and it was close to 90 out! Best part, a lot of the things I used weren’t expensive at all!

Foundation-Mabelline Super Stay 24-Hour Makeup.  I had no transfer at all, and even used this to cover a horrible allergic reaction on my neck froma necklace

Setting Powder-elf High Definition Powder I bought this just to try and ending up loving it!  I don’t know what is in it, but it photographs beautifully!

Mascara-L’Oreal Waterproof Voluminous Million Lashes no clumps, no flaking, no smudges

Eyeliner-NYC Waterproof Eyeline pencil very inexpensive and goes on really smooth!

Eye Shadow-NYC Sparkle Eye Dust in Karat Rose (pink for lid) and Topaz Shimmer (shimmery brown for crease), and L’Oreal 24-Hour Infallible eye shadow in Iced Latte to highlight under my brows.  ALL of these stayed perfectly, using just a dab of foundation as a primer

Hard Candy Glow Away Bronzer and Highlighter I just used the highlighter from my temple, under my eye, and to my nose.  Really helps brighten up the face and eyes!

Finishing Powder-Mabelline Mineral Power Illuminator ALLLLL over! I think they may have discountinued this, though! I’m almost out and can’t find it anywhere!

Also, filled in brows with Wet and Wild Ultimate Brow Kit in Ash Brown.  Great neutral color that fits almost anyone!

Like I said, these are just the things that worked for me!  I wish I had a pic to share… waiting for my sneak peak!  Hope some of this helps!!!

FAKE EYELASHES!  Seriously – it takes a little bit of practice but the individual ones aren’t hard to get the hang of.  Lisaeldridge.com has a great video tutorial.

My favorite won’t budge mascara is Fiberwig LX – it’s pricey, but I wear it through hard, sweaty workouts and it doesn’t budge until you take it off.

@Farm Girl:  you might want to check

if it’s been discontinued.  They carry a lot of discontinued items and I’ve ordered from them multiple times with no problems.
