I love the Strand tote bags mentioned in Mr. Bee's post, and think that something from a local shop/restaurant would be great (esp. if most of your family/friends are from NYC -- they don't need a Statue of Liberty key chain).
What about an "I heart NY" coffee mug with a gift card to Dean & Deluca or Starbucks for a cup of coffee.
What about black & white cookies? Or NY bagels for the next morning? I know I'd love to wake up & know there's an H&H with my name on it. LOL

ok bees. i have looked and looked and need some good ideas for our OOT bags. our wedding is in SC but we (and pretty much all of our family/friends) live in NYC.
so - our OOT bags are going to be very "southern" but in an effort to make it reflect 'us' we wanted to include something kind of new york-y.
i thought of apples (the big apple - i know - how cheesey) but our wedding is in may and we didn't think they would taste that great. then we thought of "i heart NYC" bumper stickers but thought those would just go right in the trash.
all ideas welcome bees!
