Hey girl! Let me think ... budget-friendly venues for a wedding of that size. J. Liu in Worthington is classy. The Worthington Inn was a little too small for us -- holds about 100 guests. Other options -- the Kelton House, the German Village Guest House, Northbank Park ... I'll have to think to come up with more.
I have no advice, but I just wanted to say that you're FULL BLOWN wedding planning corgi!! So happy for you, I just saw several threads you started and I thought it was cute. Soon enought you'll have reached "bee keeper"!! So exciting!

Hey Corgi! Congrats on the engagement.. I was following your posts too. I know Logan is 45mins or so from Columbus (depending on where in the city you are) but I wanted to rep our venue, A Georgian Manner B&B

The website isn't great but the B&B itself is absolutely gorgeous. We're having around the same number of guests as you and are renting a tent for the lawn. As far as I'm aware you can bring all of your own vendors too. The price is definitely right (and our budget is smaller than yours!!) :)
Let me know how your planning is going.. I'll be on the search for Columbus vendors (Hocking Hills/Logan doesn't have a huge selection, haha) for our May 2011 wedding. All I have so far is our photographer who I love to pieces!
@thismustbetheplace- looks beautiful! Unfortunately it looks like they don't do non-elopements in January. The search continues!

Well... from the looks of things, the Columbus board is not too active, but hopefully there are more cbus-ers lurking out there! I just got engaged (yippee!!) and I am SOO lost as to how to go about finding a venue! Any suggestions? Here are our "wants":
Accommodate about 75-100 guests
Preferably no on-site caterer, but we're flexible
Prefer some place unique... not a hall or church
Budget friendly! We are trying to do a 10K wedding so the cheaper, the better!
