I might, especially if they were recommended to me through my venue. I don't have a DOC so I'm kinda relying on my family and bridesmaids etc to help organise everything. Still, it'd be great to have someone there who wasn't supposed to be enjoying a wedding, who was in control of all the little things like making sure the wedding went smoothly, dealing with any issues etc. I certainly haven't needed a planner throughout the planning process, but a coordinator for the day would definitely put my mind at ease!
I am having day of help from a planner. She is also doing my flowers and will be my officiant. Basically, I am doing all the decor, and she will oversee placements and such and make sure there are no nasty surprises. I think there is probably a market for day of help, especially if reasonably priced. Good luck!
I am enjoying the planning and doing it myself so I wouldn't but I'm sure there are plenty out there that would.

I'm considering starting a very small business for future brides. I would like to be available to brides who need any day of coordinating for their big day. Many Brides, including myself, don’t really need a wedding planner to be with them throughout the entire planning process. But they may need someone there on the day of to help with all the coordination, vendors, set up etc. So, my question for you future brides is, would you consider hiring a wedding planner to help you on your big day?
