- Wedding: July 2011
Hi bees, it’s me again. And I need more advice! Of course. LOL.
So I have a friend (acquaintance?) that I haven’t seen since high school. We used to hang out all the time in high school, but we lost touch. Lately, we’ve been talking a lot on fb, and every time I post something about the wedding, she’s super supportive, and interested, wants to see pictures, etc. I don’t think she’s fishing for an invite or anything, just being really nice, but now that I get to thinking about it, maybe I should invite her? It’d be nice to see her, and she’s had a kid since high school- I’d love to meet her baby too.
The thing is, she knows (thanks to my fb status updates) that the wedding invites have all gone out (all but two more that my mother added on and promised she’d pay for if they came (referring to my previous post when I talked about how my mother will. not. stop. inviting people, yet we are the ones paying for the wedding… ANYWAYS…) So I basically don’t know how to invite my friend at this point without it being tacky or rude. I don’t want to hurt her feelings… would it be better to just leave it be at this point and not invite her? I don’t even have her address to mail her an invite- at the very least, I’m going to have to send her a message on fb to get her addy.
What should I do? How should I word this invite, if I do invite her? Tricky, tricky!!!
