I think your theme should be based off of ya’lls personalities so, for me, it would be hard for me to give advice on what your theme should be since I don’t know you. This might help.. I am a very simple girl and love simple, country chic (i’m really not sure if that describes what I am trying to describe) things. I am not really having a theme..I am just going to incorporate what I like (obviously it has to “go” together). Maybe you should make a list of things you and your FI like and go from there. Maybe you will start to see a common denominator. Hope this helps 🙂

girl I am not doing favors! I am trying to keep everything as simple and “me” as possible. The weddings I have gone to (which aren’t a lot) have silly little favors that I end up just throwing away. I do not think by not having favors anyone will miss them or even think “why do they not have favors?” So I think it is a waste of money to do favors. We are already providing food, cake, and refreshements. If you do want to do favors, maybe you should make it edible. Before I decided on not having favors I thought about baking cookies for everyone. I LOVE to bake and cook, so I thought that would be something personal from me to my guests. Of course if would take some time, but I think it would be relatively cheap and they would definitely not go to waste!

@belle320: do something edible than you don’t need a theme. navy and yellow candy buffet, or perhaps a cupcake or something.
