@beegirl458:  Only a test can tell you if you’re pregnant… If you have a dollar store near you, get some tests there. If you ovulated around the middle of the month, you could start testing around now.

figure out when your next period is supposed to be… the dollar store tests are not early prediction tests they say for the day of missed period or after.

that was my BFP.. 7 days late lol.

otherwise get a FRER.. i believe they can detect it 5-6 days prior to missed period? thats the only way to know if you’re pregnant. everyones symptoms are different.

If you have an ovulation kit that says you haven’t ovulated, why do you think that’s cause it doesnt work.  It’s quite possible that you haven’t yet or don’t ovulate on your own.  How are you using an online ovulation tracker?  What signs are you using to pinpoint ovulation?

Unless you’re tracking your temperatures, cervical mucus, etc, you have no idea if you’re ovulating. Especially if your periods are irregular, you can’t rely on a computer app to tell you when/if you’re ovulating. I suggest you pick up a copy of “Taking Charge of Your Fertility.”

If you’re irregular, the online tracker probably isn’t going to be accurate for you.  Most of those generic sites assumes a “perfect” 28 day cycle and is totally worthless for people who are irregular

@beegirl458:  I would buy cheap opks off the internet and take them starting at the end of your next period. I actually havent  heard too many stories of them not working– when you ovulate, there should be 2 distinct lines and you should also see faint lines during the days leading up to it.

Perhaps youre ovulating way earlier or later than expected, which would make it impossible to get pg if youre only bding on the days the ap tells you to bd.

sorry about the BFN, my advice is just try to learn your body as best as you can.

@beegirl458:  Welll thats not necessarily true. You could be pregnant, just too early to tell. Some people don’t get a BFP till 15DPO or even later. Or you’re just symptom spotting. Don’t worry! We all do it! I do have some advice for you though, since you’re asking 🙂

I would stop using the online ovulation trackers.. unfortunately those are notoriously false. I’d reccomend to maybe start using fertility friend. Even if all you track is CM, the days of your period and any OPK and Pregnancy test results. My FI and I TTC for the first 6 months with an ovulation tracker and I didn’t get prego. Last month i introduced OPKs into the mix, and I found out I ovulate on CD 17. Not 14 like my Ovulation Tracker was telling me. I now just started tracking CM and temping. I have an alarm set on my phone for 7am every morning so I take my temp, enter it into FF and then drift back to sleep. It seems to be working so far.

Also, because your period is irregular, that does give you a little bit of a reason to maybe look into PCOS. My cycles are 30 days long and my period last for about 4 days every single time.. if you’re not regular there may be a reason for it.

Early pregnancy symptoms are basically identical to PMS symptoms, so you may be about to get your period.
