Do I put the cake topper, knife and server on my registry? I don't think I do, because we are going to register at Target and those supplies aren't sold there. One of my family members is telling me to add it to the registry. Help!

No, I don't think you should do that.  If you really want those things for your wedding, you should get it yourself so you are assured you have everything you need.  Plus, I don't really think it's appropriate to have your guests purchase your wedding decor or supplies.

Typically I don't think so. Because by putting them on the registry there's no guarantee that you'll get them. Does that make sense? I would buy them separately but be aware that someone might buy you a cake serving set just to try to be nice and helpful (this happened to my friend, she ended up with 3 cake serving sets and 5 cake toppers!!). Also typically the bride and groom choose how they want to be depicted on their cake and chose a knife/serving set that matches their wedding colours or something.

No, not for your wedding registry. If you are having a bridal shower, you could put them on there, so you would have them for your wedding.

I've never heard of registering for a cake topper. I suppose you can put a cake knife on there if you want. I've seen them on registries before along with champagne flutes to be used for the wedding but I think it's just a matter of taste.

If your relative wants to buy them for you, then maybe you can go together to look but I wouldn't put it on your registry.
