I was going to go with cobalt from Alfred Angelo’s but have to go with David’s Bridal instead because of time and money constraints. The closest color to the cobalt is David’s Bridal horizon. My dress is a creamy ivory with champagne accents. I really like these types of blues but am afraid the David’s Bridal horizon is too vibrant/dominating of a color for my dress. Do you have any ideas about how to make this color seem more subdued than it is? I like more of a natural, earthy feel instead of a bright, electric blue “in your face”/lots of bright colors feel. I’m planning on using wildflowers to go with my theme of outdoors/Western as well as chiffon fabric to make it less vibrant. Any other ideas about how to make it seem more subdued?
