I posted awhile back about doing a renewal for my 10th anniversary this upcoming September. I’ve been doing a lot of thinking and we really can’t afford to do much of what I had wanted b/c I realized that we will have bills that need to be paid and I might not have a job (looking to go back to work this September when our son starts kindergarten). Could you tell me which one you would do, on a really, really, REALLY tight budget? Hubby and I never do anything that exciting b/c we are really tight on money. He’s a teacher, I’m a Stay-At-Home Mom. But, I don’t want to just go to dinner and a movie on our 10th anniversary. I thought about spending the night at the hotel we stayed at on our wedding night but it’s almost $300 a night and I keep thinking if it’s really worth it? I really wanted to have a party at the site we got married at but it’s a minimum of $2000 just for the site and not in our budget at all. I plan WAY in advance and if I do anything more than this, I know I would have to start saving now. I don’t want to spend much at all but don’t want our 10th anniversary to go by as if it’s just another day. Could you tell me which you would prefer?
