I have the artisan and wishing I had the pro, I would go for the pro if you can get one, IMO, totally worth it. Overstock just had a few that were screaming good deals.
I got the professional one from Costco. They often have deals that make it a little over $200.
I wouldnt buy from costco for the reason that most of the attatchments you buy elsewhere will not fit them, my mom sells them at her small local store and that is why I got mine from there and not elsewhere. Also I would go pro, i use mine alll the time and when I replace mine it will be with a pro

My mother's kitchen aid mixer broke yesterday after 17 years. I am getting her a new one. Which one do you have or suggest she get? (she is not good at making decisions.) also, where can I get a good deal?
