I recently purchased an Ella Rosa gown fo my outdoor wedding. After purchasing the gown I realized that it has a semi-catheral train. So I have two questions. 1.) would this be too formal for an outdoor wedding? like will look silly or too formal? My wedding will not be formal.2.) Do you thing this dress can be hemmed or bustled? I would like less volume and a shorter train.

@Catchthewave: All dresses can be bustled. Just have it altered to do so.
I have an outdoor wedding and I have a tiny little train too. Not sure exact length. I think it will be ok 🙂

@Catchthewave: I had a train at my outdoor wedding as well. It worked out okay! 🙂 Your dress is beautiful, by the way!

I love it as is, & think it’s fine for outdoor. When you do your alterations they’ll put in loops for the bustle. You’ll have to talk to seamstress about hemming, that’ll probably be more expensive than just adding a bustle, but I’m sure it could be done if you want. If I were you I’d just bustle it after you get some fab pics : )
