@Charliejeorge:  I have far…far….far more weight to lose than that, but I’d be happy to have a partner. I don’t have a wedding, yet, but maybe the SO won’t nag me so much. 🙂

Did you start WW yet?

@Charliejeorge:  Once you start weight watchers, and you see how the weight comes off, you’ll be on a roll!!! You can do it!! Start slow – with just counting points, then consider adding in a workout.  Trust me – a diet and a work out routine is very daunting, but starting small totally works!! I’ve lost 25 pounds on WWs!

@Charliejeorge:  hhah I hear that! That was sooo me at the end of my latest WW experience.  I have about 10lbs to go and I just wanted to eat everything.  I stopped caring because yummy food and beer was …. yummier! I do plan on losing the last 10, but I know if I do it now, I will gain it back before the wedding.  I’ll check in when I’m ready and see how you’re doing!!! Crossing my fingers for you!

Edit: (duh!) CONGRATS on losing so much!!! that’s an amazing accomplishment!!!  If you can do that- you can do anything!

@Charliejeorge:  I have no plans. None. I suck. I need to start walking again but I didn’t go there tonight. I am hoping that in a few months I might be able to dedicate some money towards WW or Jenny Craig or something like that. I lost twenty pounds when I had surgery at the beginning of the year, and I’d like to keep going. I don’t anticipate a large weight loss for me, but getting down to something under 200 would be awesome.

@Charliejeorge:  have you ever used myfitnesspal?

It’s like weight watcher’s but it’s about $0 a month 🙂

Also, look for the thread “BEEGest loser”
We talk there 😀 I can be your accountability partner!

@Charliejeorge:  ??? I eat cookies. It’s the same thing. Points are a calculation of protein, carbs, fiber, etc. The same things that MFP calculates. I eat cookies a LOT! Haha

Look in my past posts and you can find it there 😀

I’m also on a weight loss track…I’d like to lose 30 pounds by my wedding. For the first few weeks of a new program I lose SUPER SLOW and it’s frustrating. Then I have a big whoosh! day and I lose at a more consistent pace. My body makes no sense. I use the Loseit app on my phone and do strength training on Tuesday and Friday mornings before work (I have to go before work or excuses will set in and I won’t get it done). I’m aiming for 3 days of cardio. My goal is to not eat back my exercise calories unless I’m super hungry, which means I’ll be hovering around 1200 calories a day.

It’s been a bit of a challenge though. I’ve only been engaged a couple weeks and have had so many people be like “We need to celebrate!” Translation=we need to eat out and drink a lot.
