what about digitalprincess.com? They did Mrs. Meatball's wedding, and I think their packages start at $1,000.
I highly recommend our videographer, Dirk, of Studio West Video. He was referred to us by Angel Swanson (so you know he has to be good), was affordable by LA standards, and was very kind, prompt, and unobtrusive. He's not going to be super fancy, but if you just want someone to give you a lovely highlights video as well as a fairly straightforward DVD recording of your wedding day, he's the guy.

This so far has been the most difficult. We can't seem to find a decent quality videographer in the LA area. Ideally we would like to spend a grand at the most, but we're finding that within that budget range the quality is pretty low. And the nice ones are very limiting, especially when it comes to time; our wedding can't be covered in 5 hours! Trust me we tried to figure it out.
So if anyone has any suggestions, I would really appreciate it!
