@kglea: I would. It’s adorable!

I would accesorize it with a chunky red necklace and red pumps 🙂

I wouldn’t, personally, because it’s a lot of white, but that’s just my humble opinion. Is it something you already own or are you thinking about buying it?

very cute…. i like the red idea too!

I would make a bit more of an effort to stay away from white, even though this particular dress has a fair bit of black in the print.

@jo.lee: I do not own this… I have a lot of black, which is usually what I wear. I’m looking to go with something different.

I think it would be perfectly fine to wear to a summer wedding.

I personally think it’s a bit too white also. And dressing it up with red would only make you stand out more. I know this has been debated before, but I was taught to avoid white based dresses and anything red, as red is a bold color and would detract from the bride. AGAIN – that’s just what I was told growing up… but it also depends on the bride and how you think she would feel.
If you’re not sure, ask the bride.

Thanks for all the opinions. I decided against the dress that I posted, I am going to go with a deep purple dress I found from Victorias Secret.

I really like it, personally! I wore a similar dress with red heels to several weddings last summer. If you were wearing your own wedding dress to another friend’s wedding… that would be different haha… 🙂
Which VS dress did you pick? I love their dresses!

@kglea: The spirit of the no white at weddings is to prevent people from trying to look like the bride. This dress is lovely, and clearly no one will mistake you for the bride.
