I have a problem, I have an idea of what I plan to do and what I think I might do but I would like your opinion….SO, please tell me your opinion on what you think I should do and if it’s what I already planned to do than I will listen to your opinion. If your opinion differs from what I plan to do or what I think I might do, I will not listen to you. I will become angry that your opinion does not align with what I think I might do and disagree with you. So, in reality, please just tell me you agree with my opinion and tell me what you think I want to hear and keep all other opinions to yourself. Thanks!

Lol. I would agree with this.. alot of bees have already made up their minds on what they want to do before they even post.. i think they are looking for encouragement, rather than an opinion.
Some ladies do handle constructive critism rather well though, so I’ll give them that.
Although, I must say some people comment on things that aren’t even being asked the opinion of.. I asked what ring what good with the necklace I picked out.. and a lady might say she doesnt like the necklace at all.. okay! But that’s not what I asked. Everyone has differant tastes!

Seen more than a few of these posts lately.
“only tell me what I want to hear!”

Eh, most often when someone responds with their opinion they give an answer and justify why they respond as they do. I honestly have still yet to see a situation where a poster’s response is unrelated to the OP’s question. Honestly. It generally becomes clear quite quick when a poster writes something up when there is really no issue at all and they just want to be flattered and hence handle any responses that don’t contribute to that flattery in an offensive way. I get it once in a while, but not when that same poster does it over and over again, and failed to listen to anyone’s advice in prior posts.

I think that’s human nature.

Agreed… Why post if you genuinely have your mind made up?!

@soy: This is like 90% of all posts on the internet, ever.

@soy: Ha!! I was thinking the same thing. I think people post with the mindset of receiving reassurance.

The best part is, the OP usually throws a fit that people aren’t telling her what she wants to hear and deletes the thread. BOO!

Lol too funny…and too true:)

And now when they don’t like the opinion they have asked you to express, they can throw a hissy fit and delete their thread! Happened the other day and first of all thought I was going mad!

um pretty much sums it up!
