My fiance’s and my first date happened right before he left for basic training, so the first six months of our relationship was through hand written letters… Well 3 years later we are engaged and I’m wedding planning while he’s deployed..
I still have all of our letters. I was thinking of a way I could photocopy them and incorporate them into the wedding decor somehow… My only idea was possibly mod-podging pieces of the letters onto picture frames or flower vases but I want it to still look elegant… not like a 1st grade art project. Any crafty DIY brides have suggestions??
Thank you!! 🙂

If it were me I would frame them and use them as a background for your table numbers. You could also photocopy them and the transfer them onto linen to make table runners. Maybe modge podge them onto cute “bride” and “groom” signs for your chairs. Or even frame them in three frames glued together with a flameless candle in the middle to illuminate them? There are tons and tons of things you can do, good luck!

amrov17: You could bundle them and use to hold the rings
you could write a larger version on a roll of paper for a backdrop

I like the idea of folding them in a cool design and then hanging them on the wall or from the ceiling for a neat touch.
