I don’t think its rivaling your dress, but since it is a simliar style, it might look to uniform in photos.  IF your BM’s can wear mermaid, I think a mermaid style would be fantastic, but mermaid dresses don’t work on everyone.  Have you thought of something shorter? I think that is a good direction to go.  Also, since your dress is strapless, I would choose something with straps/halter/sleeves to break up the lines and draw attention to you!

I like it a lot. I don’t think it rivals your dress, but if you are concerned look at Alfred Angelo, they have a bunch of new styles. But I went to collect the style number of a dress that looks like the one you picked but in chiffon. Its style 7141. Its not quite as full, but it looked like they had others (brand new) more similar to the one you posted, just not as full.

Hope This Helps

My girls are wearing Alfred Angelo 7132 in Charcoal, (Satin & Simple, Looks great on all body types!) I dont think you can go wrong with it or the price!

Your gown is beautiful!!! =) I’d go with someting more fitting for my girls since you have a ball gown! And I am not a lover of chiffon, in my opinion the colors of chiffon that are offered are much more different in person than online.

@Willow1991: I believe it is more fitted like an empire dress, high and right under the bust; and dont they usually suggest that style for preggos?? Sorry Im not more help. Best of Luck in your search, let me know if I can be of any help!

@Willow1991: I love the one you posted and don’t think it will rival your dress at all! Go for that one!

My bridesmaids wore the Alfred Angelo 7132 in the petal pink (they no longer have this color).  My girls’ sizes ranged from 0-plus size and my best friend was 8 months pregnant at the wedding….she just bought the dress 2 sizes larger than she was when she bought it which was about 5 months before the wedding.  It was hard to choose a dress that flattered all their figures, but I think this one did.  The best part was that they were all comfortable in it and able to dance at the reception! (the price was also a big bonus at $99!)
