I’m in desperate need of a centerpiece idea! Preferably one that’s non-floral…or only uses a couple of flowers. We’re really trying to cut back on flowers right now. We will be having around 25-27 round tables and decided to do 3 different centerpieces….a birdcage centerpiece (with lots of flowers) and a manzanita branch. I’m having a hard time thinking of a centerpiece that compliments the others. I have attached pics of both of the centerpieces we’re already doing. The birdcage one we’re doing almost identical, same colors and everything…the manzanita branch will be similar but with yellow garland so it’s a little more lively. We are NOT doing the white vase with yellow flowers, as we are trying to minimize flowers needed. Our colors are yellow, grey and white…we’ve got a vintage, rustic them going on. Any help will be greatly appreciated…thanks!!

With a vintage rustic theme what about something with old apple crates or bushell baskets?
I have seen some cute rusticy looking lantern centerpieces that don’t have flowers in them like in http://www.brocadenashville.com/2010/10/a-rustic-natural-belle-meade-plantation-wedding/ that wedding

you could do a stack of books wrapped in old maps. Maps often have a lot of yellow on them. Top with a candle and maybe add a small bud vase with yellow flowers on the side
you could have pictures of yourselves or relatives in mason jars of oil. You have to use reprints of photos not photocopies. The yellow color of the vegetable oil will tie in with your colors.
terrariums aren’t rustic but they are vintage
In the Victorian era they used sugared fruit and gilded fruit centerpieces-you could do an arrangement of sugared pears on a cake plate
you can buy paper pears at the craft store and spray paint them yellow
also cloches- you could fill one with pears
