I went to a reception in Founders Hall and thoroughly enjoyed myself. There is an attached parking deck b/c finding parking downtown can be a chore. The event area where I attended the reception was in the atrium and there are tons of live trees (some with live birds) and the ceiling is glass. It's very beautiful.

We are getting married at the Palisaides in Charlotte. Its really pretty. Hope that helps :)

My fiance and I are getting married at the Point Golf Club in Mooresville. It's about forty five minutes north of Charlotte. We're having the ceremony and the reception there and the area for the ceremony backs up to Lake Norman and is just beautiful! It's also much more affordable that I had expected since it's a private golf club.

Hi Everyone!
My fiance and I just got engaged this past weekend and are diving in head first. We're looking for some place in or around Charlotte to have our ceremony/reception. Any ideas??? We're hoping for a September 2010 date so we want to get this part nailed down ASAP.
