Hey Dindy,
I recommend most of my clients Stephnie Perez. She is starting out and her cost is reasonable. She is a make up artist but also brings someone also for hair. Here is her website: http://www.stephaniethemakeupartist.com/
Hi!
I highly suggest going to the Shu Uemura boutique in Fillmore. I went to the bridal fair at the Ritz SF a month ago and got a makeover there from Shu. They're great! They'll do your make-up for a minimum $75 purchase. Matt did my makeup and he was great!! (I'm asian btw) You have to go somewhere else though for hair.... Good luck!!
Tom at Hair Express did my and 2 of my bridesmaids' hair for my wedding day in Sept 08. He did a great job and we all looked great. He was 20 minutes late for my trial, but was there on-time on the day of (though I did show up 10 minutes late, anticipating him to be late again). He's a tad bit heavy-handed with the hair spray, but bring pictures and be specific about what you want :) This shop isn't fancy, but for $50 for a good updo, you just can't beat the price!
Not sure they do makeup, but you can ask!
I also recommend the Shu Uemura boutique on Fillmore Street. I had my makeup done by Alexia and she was fabulous!
Try A-List Makeup or Wowpretty! I highly recommend them (I've been done up by A-List too). Pircilla Pae at She Uemera is great too. http://ow.ly/16yzTi
You should check out Mola!
She is great and does a beautiful job!

Hi girls,
I realized wedding costs an arm and a leg. But i guess we have to accept it. I have learned so much from this board (thank you guys for contributing) and hope we can all pitch in to make our dream wedding possible!
Do you guys have any recent experience or recommendation for reasonably priced hair and makeup artist that is good with Asian faces?
Thanks!
