My ring also required a curved band to fit flush against it. I went to the jeweler where my FI got the ring and he custom made a band to fit.
There are also some sites that specialize in making bands to fit against complicated settings:
i think if we saw a pic of the ring we may be able to help a bit more to see how the band should be shaped, although lisalulu's suggestions look great

agreed! show us a pic =]. Mine has an unusual shape and I found a way off base band to match. It doesn't sit flush tho, and you might be surprised to see what works.

I just wanted to add that the custom wedding band we're having made was actually almost $500 cheaper than the "off the shelf" one that the jeweler where my fiance bought my engagement ring wanted to sell us and I think it looks better and fits better with my engagement ring. Definitely consider having something made even if price is a concern.

my e-ring setting is very unusual, and a reg band wont lay next to it. i need something slightly 'bowed' to go around the setting. any ideas ladies??
