    Ladies --

I need some decor help...what color tableclothes should we use during the reception?  Our wedding colors are navy and shades of pink (bright to light).  The centerpieces will be clear glass vases with flowers in pink shades.  The centerpieces will be surrounded by these candleholders:

Originally I wanted navy tableclothes, but these candleholders do not show up well on that dark of a color (unlit, I did not try them with candles inside).  My mom thinks we should use white, but I am not really a fan of white tableclothes.  Also, the reception venue is pretty stark/modern and I think it needs to be livened up.  It looks like this:

Light tan walls and concrete floors (please ignore the twirling lady).  The venue includes the linen rental and they have an entire book of tablecloth fabrics, so I won't have to spend any money to get another color.

So, what do you ladies think?  What color tablecloth would you choose?

ooooh well i think a navy tablecloth would be so beautiful.  It would totally highlight the vases since they are so light in color.

I really like the idea of the pewter, but it's hard to decide without seeing the tablecloth with the centerpiece.

I think lighting them will make the candle holders show up a lot better. Defn don't do white if you get another color for free. Have you asked if you can get a tablecloth AND an overlay for free? Then maybe you could do a combination of the colors. I voted for navy though since you already have pink in your candle holders and flowers. The candle holders are beautiful!

I chose the navy, but now I'm kinda thinking, if it's dark in your venue with minimal lighting (candles) then your tablecloth may look black.  So I think I may have to go with pewter

My initial response is to say Navy.  Can you try the navy with candles lit?  If navy is going to look too dark (black) or the candleholders won't show up, I'd say pewter!

I say use white, it's elegant and classic, but it's your wedding, and if you're not a big fan of white, use which ever color you want.

I'm doing Navy and pink too. I think you should do navy table clothes because you're using pink accents. I'm not a fan of white if you can get another color for the same price.

Beautiful venue! I think the navy would look very elegant and pop nicely against the pink.
