I don’t know that specific dress, but I bought an Essence dress with lace and beading (which usually adds to the price) and it was a little under 1400.00, but I also paid 100 extra for a hollow hem.

I have an Essence dress, too and I think their dresses are generally $1000 and up. Could you call a couple of the stores and ask what the price of the dress is, sometimes different stores have slightly different pricing. And don’t be afraid to call and ask the price of a dress there is no point in going and trying something on if it is out of your budget.

Here’s a tip, email a few Auzzie stores, I’m getting my dress from the US and shipping will be around $150, but I’m saving over a grand doing it since my designer is a popular one over there (I’m in NZ). Conversely, Essence is hugely popular in Australia and New Zealand, prices run from $500USD upwards and are often on sale, so you might find spending 150 in shipping saves you a few hundred in the long run!

PS: Have you seen the D1065? I’m in love with that one right now 🙂

I paid $1250, including tax, for mine, in Canada. I have seen them online for $2500, so I think it’s a fairly good price.

Email is [email protected] or see http://www.thebridalcentre.com.au telephone: 61 7 30343000.

I also love this dress and have been trying to find someone who has it in store. I have been told that they were going to have a sample of it at the trunk shows in Sydney ad Melbourne so I’m hoping either of these stores might now have it in stock. In my search for this dress I called the Geelong store and she gave me a price of about $2500. I have also been told that your nearest stockist might be able to get it in for a fee of $50.00 if you want to try it on. Good Luck!!

My daughter’s dress just came in. D1104! It was $1049.95 with the tax at a local bridal shop here. That was her must have dress and by luck they had just gotten a sample in; she was the first to order it from them. It is very simple, yet elegant and perfect for the lakeside wedding. Best of luck to you.

@Monster of the Bride:

We will need to order the dress for my sister online and she loved this dress.  My sister is worried that the back is a bit low cut.  Thanks for your help.  We are so worried about getting a dress without trying it on but where I live there is nothing.  Appreciate any info on the dress you might have.

Thanks.

@lsanmartin:

I think this style is conservative for a fitted dress. She isn’t spilling out at the bust and I did not think the back as too low. She is just about 5’10 and built like Barbie. If your sister is tall and wants to wear heels, I would suggest ordering extra length. We did not and she wants to wear heels so her dress may be a little higher off the ground then expected.

I had pictures of the details but my computer crashed and I am not sure if she still has them on her camera. Let me know if you want photos of the details and I will check with her on their availability.

Best of luck to you and yours.

My Essense gown was $2000, D1435.  I bought it at Crystal Bride in Geneva.  Not sure if you are in the Midwest, but would highly recommend that salon.  Tons of EOA gowns (actually the #1 retailer of EOA in the midwest).

I was eyeing a EofA dress for the longest time (D1398). It was $1800 (and I called MANY stores for prices) excluding alteration, veil, etc. I couldn’t afford the price, sadly. It was a beautiful dress though.
