We included a personalized crossword puzzle on the back of our program (we love doing crosswords). It added a touch of "us" and gave people something to do in case they got bored during the ceremony ;)
We're putting "Celtic Tree Astrology" on the back of our programs, as we have a rustic, tree-themed event. Figured everyone loves to look at chinese placemats and get their chinese horoscope, so why not?
I've also seen custom madlibs, Q&As about the bride and groom, crosswords and wordsearches.
Kind of, but not totally related, on our tables we are putting "Well Wishes" cards with a jar of colored pencils for guests to fill out leisurely and deposit in our cardbox, to be made into our guestbook later.
we have a crossword and a sudoku puzzle in ours! you could also do one of those "find the differences" picture games...and use a picture of the two of you and just make small changes in the before and after!
@vagabonggurl: where did you find that celtic tree thing? i've never seen it before and i love it! our wedding is autumn/apple and acorn themed...so i think i might be able to incorporate this...

I want to make a simple wedding/reception program for my combined wedding/reception event.
I'd like to include what's on the buffet, a page of special guests (family and grandmothers), and games that are appropriate for guest to fill out while they are waiting to get food and drinks etc. I was even thinking about a game that they could hand in at the end of the night so we could score it and tell the guests their score in the thank you cards...or not. i don't know..
any ideas? examples?
