I think you should only gift the people who are hosting and/or helping to put ont he shower. I gave my hostesses a box of cookies/chocolates from my fave shop and had flowers sent to their house the day after the shower.
I agree, only gifts for the hostess. I will probably do some type of gift certificate - to their salon or a restaurant, something like that.
hostesses only. i honestly didn't even know people gave gifts to shower hostesses before i started reading weddingbee. both my mom and i threw (separate) showers for a good friend and we didn't get gifts from her....nor did we expect them. that said, i love the idea of sending flowers to their house as a gift, or cute baked goods/sweets. i once was given a gift of a boxed spice set that i loved receiving and plan on giving others in the future. you can look at them online - penzey's spices. it was a housewarming gift and we use them pretty much every day.

What gifts should I get my 2 bridesmaids that are throwing me a bridal shower? They are my age (30). There the ones hosting the shower.
Should I get my future mother in-law and mother a gift? What about my bridesmaid(who is 14 and really a junior BM age)who is not helping with the shower....she's my future sister in-law, should I get her a gift?
Also, at my work they want to throw my fiance and I a wedding shower. So what kind of gift should I get for the hostess? She's in her 70s! Any ideas?
Thanks in advance!
