    Hi Bees!!

I am planning to wear a flower in my updo for the wedding but I'm not sure which type of fascinator backing works best. I found a flower that I like and they'll design it with any type of backing I want but I'd like to get some opinions on which would be the best. Thanks for your help!

I'm doing the same thing, and my hair lady told me a classic comb should be just fine. Where are you getting yours from?

I found a site called http://www.shellysheek.com/.  She has a lot of different styles and I really liked the ivory gardenia. They are only $18 which I thought was great compared to some others I have seen.  She'll do the backing in whatever you want but I did not want to make the wrong decision!  Thanks for the advice!

I went with the barrette because it fastened in the back. I guess I didn't want to take any chances. I tried it with my updo when I did make makeup/hair trial and it worked beautifully.

I would say a comb would be fine and would give you the snuggest fit to your hair, but it depends also on your hair texture. I have really curly hair and anything will stay in it. When it was longer I could braid it without putting ties on the ends and it would stay braided. But if you have slippery hair then I would do a barrette, I don't see how that could fall out.
