I’m not very good with matching, and I’m hoping I can get some good advice from the boards (always worked before!!) =)
I am planning on wearing a half-updo of some kind for my wedding and I can’t seem to figure out what kind of headpiece to use. I do have a veil that I will wear for the ceremony and then take off, and my original idea was a headband but I don’t think that will look right with the hairstyles I love. I would like some sparkle, such as a comb or pins, and I’m not really a tiara girl unless it is small. Most of the pictures with half-updos I’ve seen either have just the veil or flowers.
Any thoughts or ideas would be MUCH appreciated! =) Thanks in advance!!

Same here! Although my hair will be all up, I am not too big on tiara’s at all, and headbands are Ehh!
A pin or comb would be very fitting with that, but another thing that I think is simple, beautiful and would look good are those ribbon headpieces that are like woven in and out of metal pieces that have bling on them, or just one thing fastened to the side of it, and then it just ties! Let me see if I can find a pic of what I am talking about…lol….http://www.projectwedding.com/photo/browse?tag=ribbon%20headband&thumbs_page=1
Ok I have seen more simple ones but this is all I could find for now but have def seen more simple ones with not as much “going on”
besides that I would think like a pretty comb to throw to one side would look good, looked at some half do’s online and what headpieces they used and a lot were combs and looked really good!
