Hello bee’s, needing some advice. I always had mid length hair untill a year ago when i got it short. since i got engaged and weve set a date i kind of had it in my head that i should grow my hair to have an updo to suit my dress, but the longer and more out of style its getting the more i hate it. So what i need your opinions on is if you think short suit’s me better and if you think short will match my dress??
Also if i keep it short what i can have in my hair, could i wear a veil, a sparkly clip, tiara……..im unsure. Please help me 🙂

I have short hair and I love it, that said, if I had the time and the hair for it (mine is very thin) I’d want to grow mine out for a dress like that so I could do a beautiful updo. If you think the longer it gets it’s getting out of style, how about asking a stylist to help you grow it out more fashionably?

If you have your heart set on having a fancy updo for the wedding then keep growing it, see if your stylist and shape it so it grows out nicer and remind yourself that you can hack it off as soon as you’re married.
However, I think you look great with the short or mid-length hair. So, just make sure you won’t look back at your wedding pictures and think you don’t look like yourself. It seems like you have a very fun personality and your shorter hair with a fun sparkly hair clip could be a very fun look on your wedding day that brings an extra dash of “you” to your bridal look.
Whichever way you choose……your dress is gorgeous and you look stunning in it! 🙂

I’d say go with what feels like YOU at your best. If you feel happier with short hair, I’d say go with it – and since you seem to love statement earrings, why not use that as an accent instead of something in your hair?

umm still confused lol, its not really the fact that its getting out of style and messy its more the fact that i think short hair suit’s me best and i think im growing it because that’s my idea of how a bride looks, but i should really do whats more me, im just really my short hair wont match my dress, just worrying about nothing i expect 🙂
thanks for your reply’s xx

I think short looks lovely, especially with the fringe – it really suits your eyes. I see what you mean about the dress, but what about a gorgeous headband with something fancy on it, or a birdcage veil? Etsy has some stunners.
