My former NYC hairstylist (I moved to the Midwest over the summer), is unavailable to do my hair for my wedding, the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend. Can anyone recommend a stylist in NY or Northern NJ who does great updos?

I'm also looking for a fab makeup artist. Again, someone local to the Bridgewater-Scotch Plains-Westfield area or someone from NY who will travel.

Jin at Panico's Salon in Oradell is really great at updos!! My sister got married in the pouring rain and her hair still looked amazing by the end of the night! http://www.panico.com/virtualtour/oradell.shtml

She charges more if she travels, but is alot cheaper if you go to the salon...

Also, I never have seen their work in person but this company does hair and makeup. It is recommended by the Calvary Bridal House, which as you may know, has alot of picky brides! Also, it is pretty close to westfield.

www.simplybeautifulmakeupnj.com is the best around! The owner has an extensive background in movies and fashion makeup and has worked with lots of cool stars. I went with them not because of the glam but the rates. She gave a great rate to us of just $55 per bridesmaid.
