I need a little help. My best friend is getting married in 3 weeks. AHH! So excited for her, lol. Anyway, i’m not being to be able to be in town till the day of the rehersal dinner, so i’m going to miss the bach party, and the wedding party day, but I want to plan something small and sweet for her before the wedding that she can enjoy…
I need ideas! I thought maybe I could conspire with her FI and plan a spa day, or something.. maybe I dunno.
I also, don’t have a whole lot of money, but I want to do something, she deserves it!
Anyway, any ideas would be wonderfully helpful!
Thanks so much <3

As a bride a spa day would be nice, but as a surprise it would suck 🙂 too much to do!
Maybe a week earlier would be nice.
Honestly though, the best thing you could do is call up and ask her about her plans, email her, etc. Be there for her and be excited for her. Ask her if you can research anything such as prices or options of “XYZ” (whatever she asks).
Maybe on her bachlorette you can have a bottle of wine served at the dinner (if there is one) that you called ahead for at the restaurant they are going to.

You could call ahead to their Honeymoon hotel and have something nice set up for them when they get there like champagne and strawberries or a couple’s massage. Otherwise, I would wait till after the wedding to do a suprise spa day. After the wedding it really WILL be a surprise 🙂

I was hoping to do something small and sweet for her a few weeks before hand, since I cannot be there with her during the few weeks left of anticipation.

I think having something nice prepared for their honeymoon suite is the ultimate in kindness. I really hope one of my girls does something like that for me.

Is there any small task that you can do for her from Hawaii (one that she’s been stressing about?) I’m thinking you could make and address her place cards, do a table map…
OOH! If YOU can’t be there to help her during those last stressful weeks, what if you put a box of stuff together for her where she gets 1 item each day for the last two weeks before the wedding (they could be each be labeled with the date she gets to open them.) Some could be little gifts like her favorite candy, a funny key chain, etc.. Others could be cards, stories, jokes, or memories. You incorporate special items for the special occassions your missing (a feather boa or tiara for her bach party) for those days.
That way, she’d have you there with her every day. (I might have to use this idea myself!)
