I am torn between two styles of dresses, I love the Madeline Gardner. Even though it is nothing at all I thought I would like. At first I didn’t like the fabric and I thought I would look horrid in a halter. But when I put this dress on I instantly fell in love. It has pockets!! The other dress the DB is everything I originally wanted in a gown, keyhole back, lace, form fitting. I like it a lot and it fits my vintage rustic wedding perfectly. Also a lot of my family members believe the ruffle on the Madeline takes away from my face/nice body. But I love it so much. Please help a torn bride!!!

I really like the first one because it is so unique! Both look great on you though.

You look pretty in both, but I have to say that I’m loving #1. So darn pretty on you!!! What do you feel great in? Envision yourself in? What dress did you want to not take off?
Another clue? You said you “love” the first one (twice!) and used “like” for the second one : )

Both are beautiful, but I like the Madeline better because ruffles=fantastic, and I think it flatters your figure better. It makes your waist look smaller and the halter neckline looks graceful and pretty, where I think the DB one’s neckline and shoulders is making your shoulders look wider than they really are. The Madeline is so unique and gorgeous!

I think the first dress is too large for your body frame. The ruffle collar is a bit overwhelming. And I think the second dress is very pretty but also seems too loose or not stiff enough in the bodice?

Here is an up close picture of the top of the dress.

I prefer the second. I don’t like the ruffled halter of the first with that fabric. It feels too forced, and looks uncomfortable.

I’m not a fan of the neckline of the first one. I think it’s too much dress for your frame.

I do like the first dress on you, and the second as well! They are so different it’s hard to decide which one looks better. I think they actually look great on you. But choose the one you feel is the “one”.. you won’t regret it if you with your gut! Good luck! 🙂

I feel like i have posted this photo to so many boards hahaha. I am wearing the ruffle halter dress for my wedding and I love it! (mine has a flower — which I had removed) I think the halter is SUPER unique and i really felt like a bride in it.
