So my wedding is coming up soon and its time to start picking my dress accessories! My major concern is the headpiece, since I tried one on at the bridal shop and fell in love but it was $1,200 (yikes!) which I felt was way too much to spend on a headband. So now I’m looking at cheaper options and have narrowed it down to 2much more reasonably priced ones, but would love some opinions or suggestions!
Headband I loved:
I am also stuck on jewelry, I’ve found these accessories which I think might be perfect for my dress but am not sure if they will clash with the headband:
Lastly, I love these TOMS ballet flats with some cute gold clip-on bows, but aparently the flats are no longer being made. If anyone knows of cute and comfortable blush flats that I could wear or where I can find these, I would love any suggestions!
P.S. sorry for the lengthy post and all the pictures!

kmartinez: The first headband you posted is amazing, but that price – holy crap!! I like the other gold one (last headband pic). For the jewelry, gold would definitely look best. It will match the embroidery in the dress so nicely! The bracelet and earrings would be so pretty with it.

I like the 2nd head band with gold jewlery for sure to complement your dress! Either pair of shoes would work. Whatever you are most comfortable in!!

I don’t understand why you’d buy such gorgeous glamorous accesories but then opt for Such a basic random shoe like toms? Is there a specific reason you want flats?

kmartinez: I LOVE your jewelry picks!! Gorgeous! Yellow gold is definitely the right pick for that dress. As for the headband….I think I like the 2nd one better.
Worrying about clashing with the headband. To me, distance is key. The bracelet is perfect. If you’re concerned, try some smaller and more dainty earrings, and I think the necklace is just right.
And shoes. Well, if you’re willing to shell out some moo-lah, check out Tieks. I hear they’re absolutely to die for in the comfort department. I don’t have a pair, but I’ll keep dreaming (and saving.) They come in a ton of colors (including blush!). Not up for that, I would scour Modcloth, Zappos, and 6pm.
How about these?

My sister has actually found me the perfect pair of earrings at Forever 21 for $4, and Im in love yay!!
Mintyfresh: i chose toms because 1. My dress is long so while my shoes might show every now and then, they won’t be as in the spotlight as my jewelry, and 2. Its my wedding day and I know I’ll probably be running around everywhere and dancing and I want to be confortable and able to walk by the end of the night. And the plus side to toms is that I can wear them again after the wedding, which I wouldnt be able to do if I bought some blingy shoes (not that i have anything against blingy shoes, i think theyre fabulous). And as for the earrings, I found them on etsy, here’s the link:
MrsYellowDaffodil: those last shoes are adorable, thanks!
