- Wedding: May 2012
I’m concerned my music choices might be a little outside the box. I have unique taste which I want to encorperate into the wedding. It is hard to ask people I know because either they are very gung-ho or look at me like I’m crazy that I don’t want to do something tradtional.
I would really like to encorperate Cream’s “Sunshine of your love” into my wedding, and I’m not sure where to put it. For the entrance it will quickly transition to our first dance song so I don’t think it would fit there anymore. Do you think it would be reasonable to do as a processional? If we had a song, this would be it… but its not dancable so we are doing somethine else for our first dance.
I’m also trying to decide on a Cake cutting song, and really want to avoid the songs that are sugar/sweetness puns. I was thinking of using Iron Maiden’s “Wasted Years” starting at 3:40.
Are these too much? Any other suggestions?
