Hey all, this is my first post. My bf and I are planning on getting engaged in the next couple months and we have been searching for the right e-ring. We went to a bunch of jewlery stores and now i'm stuck between 4.

Need Help Choosing E-Ring : wedding engagement ring solitaire multistone Original Ring

the first is the original ring we had picked out (except in white gold and a .31 carat princess cut diamond.

the second is a 3 stone ring with side stones with 1ctw

Need Help Choosing E-Ring : wedding engagement ring solitaire multistone Next Choice

the next two are a set and we can pick the diamond that will go in it

Need Help Choosing E-Ring : wedding engagement ring solitaire multistone Choice 3Need Help Choosing E-Ring : wedding engagement ring solitaire multistone Choice 3.5

the next and last one is a .33 ct round cut diamond with 3 small (.06 ct) on each side

Need Help Choosing E-Ring : wedding engagement ring solitaire multistone Last Choice

Now the issue is that i have small hands (ring size 5.5) but I don't want something that is just going to look cute or more like a promise ring than an e-ring but I also don't want something too big that will taken over my finger/hand. Since I like all of these especially the last 3 (since i've always liked the multistone idea) I need help figuring out which one is it.

Any advice is greatly appreciated. And sorry for the bad pictures my bf took them and isnt very skilled at taking pictures of rings but you get the idea :)

That three stone looks great, I think it's the perfect proportions for you

I vote for the 3-stone ring. But then again I have a 3-stone ring so I'm a tad biased, lol.

I agree with @abirdword:  The 2nd and 3rd options are my favorites. I like that with the 3rd option you can pick your own stone, and therefore pick the best size for your budget and your finger size.

I voted 3 stone, also based on the proportions, but also because I think if you are scared of your ring looking like a promise ring then the solitaire will be too dainty (plus you don't seem to like it that much).  I also think the very last one looks lovely on you.

Thanks for all your input so far! Just thought I'd post a better picture of the multistone with the choice of centre diamond (which will likely be around .5 ct). It's pretty similar in store hence why I love it lol

@jennify:  I really like the multi-stone without the center diamond. I think that it is really pretty plus I am a fan of picking your main diamond seperately. It give you more options. This way you can evaluate the stone without the prongs getting in the way (and hiding a flaw in the diamond that the store might not tell you about otherwise.)

@BayStateBride:  Haha, so true! I'm a three stone girl and voted for a three stone. I also think its perfectly in proportion to her fingers :)

I like the 3-stone, but I also like that last photo you posted.

Edit: I didn't see that you had posted another one underneath it and I meant the last photo from your first post.

I agree on chosing the band that you can select your diamond if you have smaller hands.

I have a size 5.5 finger too! When we origionally went ring shopping in SanDeigo jewlers kept pushing me towards 2ct. + rings. The diamond literally covered my entire finger! and trying them on with a halo made me laugh histericly...We ended up settelling on a 1.5ct which I still feel is still large but doesn't seem to swallow my hand whole like some other sizes.

just have to guess and check and see what diamond shape and size best fits your hand.

So I'm definitely between the 2nd and 3rd one. I think I'm going to go back to mall and try theM on again tonight. O and I realized the other picture I posted of the multistone isn't the same ring lol. I'll also try to post better pictures since I'll be taking them myself lol

I think I like the three stone and the setting with no stone yet about the same, but I voted for the three stone.
