    Hi Everyone!

I'm newly engaged and new to weddingbee (my first post!) but have found the discussions to be so helpful! I'm wondering if a few of you may be able to help me decide, especially since you've used these photographers before.

The style I'm looking for is romantic, photojournalistic, and vintage (i love the sepia colors and the romantic feel of it)! The top 3 that I'm now deciding between are:

    1. Mandy Lynne http://blog.mandylynne.com/I originally found her on pinterest and her photography is TO DIE FOR but she comes more expensive than my budget of $5K with travel fees, and I was upset to find out that it would be an additional $600 to get rights to the hi-res images of my engagement photos! Also, I can't seem to find any reviews on her so that's also a risk whether she works well with couples

    2. 131 Photography: http://www.1313blog.com/ The couple are absolutely fantastic! A++ for personality - I feel like we're friends already! They were willing to customize a package that had everything I was looking for and threw in a few bonuses! Everyone on weddingbee and weddingwire RAVE about them as well! The only thing is that their style is not as vintage as I would like (some of their shoots are but some are not) and I'm a bit concerned about how it might turn out in the end.

    3. Stacy Paul http://stacypaulphotography.com/blog/ She seems new to the game but her photography style is beautiful as well and more along the lines of what i was originally looking for with Mandy Lynne. The only thing is she does seem pretty new and experience is always a concern.

So I think at the end of the day, it's between photography style vs. personality and willingness to work with you. What do you think? Have any of you worked with either of these photographers before? Would LOVE your input. Thanks so much!!

After the wedding the only thing that will be left are the photographs. We splurged in this area. I recommend going with a photographer that you love, as long as you can swing it without it affecting the tone of your wedding. Also some photographers will try to customized a package for you, if you ask for less than their starting package.

But also, you need to meet with the photographer before the wedding to make sure you guys click. And read reviews. I think those are a must for the photographer.
