    Hey Bees!!

I am seeking some thoughts and opinons on an after-party dress. Due to In-laws religious beliefs we will not be serving alcohol at the wedding or reception, which is fine, so instead we are planning to have a little after-party to celebrate with some drinks and dancing. So now I am looking for a fun party dress. Part of me wants to stay traditional and go with a little white cocktail dress. But another part of me wants to do something really flashy and fun. Here are some I am considering! Tell me what you think!

    Thanks Ladies!!!

@SamanthaSadlier: I would say go for the fuschia cocktail dress.  It looks so fun and the colour is striking!  If you wanted to go a bit more traditional then I would say go for the second one - white and silver ballerina dress.  To be honest I like them all.  I think any choice you make will work :)

I voted for the fuschia dress--the other two are too short and Lolita for my taste.

I would stick with the white one. You can wear that fuscia dress to a cocktail party but as the bride, wear the white because you can't wear it again.

Number 1 and 2 are SOOOO cute!! I wish I would of had an after party so I could of rocked a dress like those!

I'm torn between the two, but I think the 2nd gives more of the wow factor!

dont mean to hijack your thread but i just wanted to say i love ur idea of an after-party!!!  think i might steal it :-)

we're planning a very casual backyard bbq wedding and most of the guests are older and some are religious esp if my bio-dads side shows up....so unfortunately, we'll have an ipod going but i doubt there will be much dancing...and no alcohol served either....so hmmmm, after-party sounds like a good idea :-)

Thanks everyone! I am still so torn. I am seriously in love with that fuschia dress, but my traditional side is telling me to wear white so I stand out since I am the bride. Urgh...such a hard decision! This is almost tougher than when I picked my wedding dress!! LOL.

@mamahusky3, you should totally go for it! At first I was really bummed that alcohol and dancing really wouldn't mesh well with the people on the guest list, but we had a bunch of friends request that we just do a part afteward. I am stoked!

I say go with your heart.  It is an after party and a chance to show the fun and less formal you.  Why not buy two dresses and have a quick change - you're the bride after all so you can do what you want lol

@SamanthaSadlier: its like having the best of both worlds in one day! i love it!

btw, i say if you really love the fuscia dress go for it! you can always accessorize by wearing a cute white headband or birdcage veil and some white shoes and jewelry.....besides, you'll be wearing white for your ceremony and reception so i would go with the color for the after party....just my opinion :-)

I love #2!! I think that the third dress is gorgeous and I would totally wear it to a party but I'm with PP who said to play up being a bride and getting to wear white!!

@Running, Good point! That is part of the reason I am thinking of sticking with white. The only down side is that I never really go to parties where I would get to wear any kind of dress like that...sad. :( So that is why I was thinking this might be an only chance to wear a dress like this. And now....I am thinking of getting both. LOL. Oh boy....
