Hello bees, need some advice…
We ditched our big wedding plans (too much stress, venue issues) and decided to go to the courthouse.
I have two totally different dresses picked out for our big day in the big easy. I can’t decide on just one yet because one dress hasn’t arrived in the mail yet. I love both looks!!
i think that I could totally wear one to the courthouse and one to dinner that night. I guess the main issue is that professional pictures will be taken before going to courthouse, so I have to pick one that I like enough for pictures.
What I’d like to do is have a game plan for each dress, so I’m not rushing at the last minute.
Some background info – he will be wearing a dark gray suit with a dark navy tie. It could change to a black tie. My bouquet will be dahlias and garden roses in light to dark pink. Colors can change at this point.
Okay – here’s the first one.
I love this dress because of the lace and I feel gorgeous in it. The back is my favorite. I think I’ll wear my hair up – I want the back of the dress to be seen. I really like this style
Here’s the second one. (Pretend you don’t see the casual tote on her shoulder!). My friend has this same dress in green and it looks sooo much better on a body than on the hanger!
For this one I was thinking about a half-up, 50s style. I love this look
Should I go full-force with a (slight) wing liner and strong lipstick? The only problem with that is the color…my flowers are pink and I envision a red lip with this dress. I do have time to change my roses to red.
I do have a pair of nude patent leather peep toe mid heel shoes that I think would go with either. But…I would be tempted to get some red ones for the second dress. 🙂
I’m not crazy about veils, but I do like simple birdcages.
As of right now, I have no jewelry picked out for either look. My rings are sapphire/diamond engagement and diamond band, both Art Deco style.
I’d love to hear how you’d accessorize and get glammed up for both dresses!
Ultimately I will go with my heart (can’t wait to get that second dress in!)…I’m just curious. Thanks!
