I am totally stumped… I am having a destination wedding and in my culture, it is “the thing” to wear a reception dress or rather party dress ( you stay in your ceremony gown till halfway through the reception and then you change… and my mum dosent want really me to wear a shorter dress – she dosen;t think it is proper… but i love one of them
I however can’t decide on any one dress going to have one made – Please could you tell me what you think about the two options… I want something sexy but still bridal… and please- any more options will be very very appreciated
Here is my main wedding gown (it isnt complete yet)
Here is option number one—Paolo Sebastien- but i will make it strapless and the back very open and without all the beading
Option number 2 – Anna peng bridal – I love the slit but i dont know if its tooo simple
Option 3 – the vera wang gemma – i love it but dont think i could dance in it
Option 4 – Krikor Jabotian –

Option 2 looks like lingerie, and number 1 is too revealing/sexy for a wedding in my opinion. I can’t see option 3. So that leaves 4.

gamerlover: Thank you for your reply – option 3 is just the vera wang gown – classic style . https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/157833715/vera-wang-inspried-wine-red-burgundy … i cant seem to edit…
and for option 1, i am definitely not getting the sides that sheer – i am going to have satin beneath the lace at the sides – so i dont look naked (my mum would faint if i went out like that)
Does that change things a little?

Yes very much so! I think it would be lovely or the vera wang! Both are stunning (when you don’t look almost naked!)

Oh my gosh i LOVE that #4 – it’s a super show stopper!

swizzles25: I voted #4. It is such a super cute, fun looking party dress!

This is really hard without knowing your body type. Dress 1 and 2 are best on opposite body types, for example. I love 4, but you said your mom doesn’t want short. If you can’t dance in the gemma, it shouldn’t be a reception dress.

4.) is such a fun flirty dress –
Bridey77: HoorayLouLou: pengoala: and I love it – just worried because of my mum – however, the response may sway my mind – I have been known to do things my way after all lol
Tinatiny1: you hit all my problems on it’s head – I fell in love with the Gemma first time I looked at wedding dresses so it holds a place in my heart but it isn’t practical for dancing – or so I hear!! If I could, I would love it – but I still want it lol – here is a pic of me id that helps

swizzles25: lol, I hear your pain! I love the gemma, too. You can always wear a colored version of ot to an event after you’re married.
After seeing pic of you, number 1 would also be amazing. Not everyone can wear that but you have the perfect figure for it. Also it’s not short so mom might agree to it:-)

Runnerbride09: alysee: soontobesumida: I am pleasantly surprised at the response to the short dress – I love love love it – only hesitation is mum and that hesitation is dwindling very fast
Tinatiny1: thank you very much for the compliment –
JuliaLaneFitness: I am now thinking of getting both the 1st and 4th and decide which fits better – oh sooo confused
