I’m still searching for a wedding dress. My wedding is in June next year, so I’d like to order my dress by November. That gives me 2-3 months left.
I’ll show you some of the dresses that fit my style.
Allure 8966 (I just don’t like the waves here.. they look “tight”.. I want something a little more flowy and not as curly)
Maggie Sottero Divina (on the pricier end, but I like it a lot..preferably something similar to this but less than $1300 total)
Wtoo 17536 (it fits well, but the bottom isn’t as detailed as I’d like)
I also adore this dress from Lazaro, but way out of my price range.
So bottom line: My style is fit and flare, sweetheart neckline, organza (no satin or shiny stuff), dropped waist, detailed bottom, and less than $1300.

Have you looked at Vera Wang’s White for Davids Bridal Collection? They’re pretty much all in your price range and they’re very similar

Have you tried any on yet? Honestly, if you haven’t tried a dress on yet, you probably don’t know your style. Most bees report completely changing their minds about what they liked when they started putting dresses on. Also, there are lots of designers out there who don’t advertise online or in magazines (like Marisa for example), so once you get into salons, you may find dresses that meet your criteria that you never found and would never find online.
As you keep looking if you are right about what you want, remember that most straight necklines can be made sweatheart.
Good luck with your search!

@mrsSonthebeach: Hi there 🙂 I have tried on many dresses. The style that fits me best is fit and flare. I’m super petite (5’1) and I’m a street size 1. Many of the dresses out there consume my body and make me look even shorter. The fit and flare style has been the most flattering, I think.

I tried on the Allure dress you posted and I thought the same thing that the bottom was a little too curly. I ended up getting Maggie Sottero Nova. I’m also 5’1″. This dress is definitely within your budget. The top can be altered to a sweetheart neckline. Not sure yet if I will do that.
I also loved this one from Allure. I absolutely LOVE the bottom on this one.

A couple of more that I loved (and fit my 5’1″ frame). Both are within your price range. The first one is Demitrios. The second one is Justin Alexander.

Here’s a similar one and the designer has a few others very similar. Not 100% about the price range but the Jasmine dresses I put on were all slightly less than the Allure ones.
