Check out gatheringguide.com and opentable.com. You may have to get married during the week to get the venue for that amount.
Good Luck.
Try South Coast Botanic Garden http://www.southcoastbotanicgarden.org/weddings
Not sure what their current rates are, but I'm pretty sure they meet all your other requirements.
Good luck!

We been looking around for a venue at an affordable price, but it doesn't seem to exist in LA :(
We want to have our wedding ceremony and reception at one place. We would like it in a park or a Garden or a Mansion with big backyard somewhere in L.A. (preferably San Gabriel Valley) that meet all these criteria:
1) can be reserved for wedding ceremony and reception
2) allow outside cater and liquors
3) allow music till midnight
4) can fit up to 250 people
5) Venue rental is less than $2000
Does such place exist?
