I am wondering if anyone has any recommendations on where to get bridesmaid dresses. I am looking for mismatched dresses in the same color (blush) and I love a soft, romantic, feminine look. I love Joanna August dresses, but I’m wondering if there is anything else similar out there that is a little more affordable.
I am nervous to get them from a bridal salon because I don’t want them to look like the typical bridesmaid dresses you see all the time.
Any help is appreciated!

Do you have a length in mind? Cost? Location of where to shop? With the information provided I’d say look at the formal dress section in any department store.

pick a material and length and go from there.. i doubt you will get the same exact shade of blush since it is such a broad color … but just have your maids look around for what they like and send you pictures before they buy to make sure everyone is cohesive

Sdavis: have u thought of doing an ombré theme for the bridesmaids? if u want something different and not typical consider doing different shades of pink from light to dark including blush.or if u want the exact color u can hace a different style sleeve for each dress like one one strapless one spaghetti straps one off the shoulder one one shoulder etc

I work at a boutique in FL and we carry a ton of BM dresses. The most affordable and dresses we carry are Mori Lee and they are goregous dresses for under $200 (except some of their all over lace dresses).
I have had alot of brides just tell their girls to get a dress from the same designer in the same color but just whatever style they want. That way they fabric and color are the same.
Mori Lee has two collection with different types of chiffon. Their Angelica Faccenda collection is the Lux Chiffon and the blush is so pretty. If you liked the collection you could just tell your girls “hey just pick any dress from the AF collection in blush.” to make it easy on yourself and your bridesmaids.
Also while at a boutique inquire about group discounts many shops over it for BMs parties.

I agree with others that have said to pick a material and length and see what’s out there.
I let my girls pick their own style to flatter themselves. We got ours from a local salon, and they were Alfred Angelo brand. Chiffon was great, and the have a pretty color called Tea Rose that is a blush pink. They were less than $200, more around $130 where we went – but every salon is different.
I know they’re not a blush pink, but here are my gals in different styles from the AA line. I didn’t think they looked too ordinary!

I’d look at places like nordstrom, macys, lord & taylor, dillards. It depends how picky you are… but you might have the best luck just telling your girls “long and blush” or give them some sample photos of dresses you like and see what they come back to you with.
