Nice website here
I’ve been giving this some thought and wanted to give my soon-to-be bride a nice and personal gift. I know the traditional thing is to give diamond earings, watch etc etc.
Does anyone have any suggestions? My budget is roughly $500 (max) as I’ve already spent a fortune on her rings. I have the feeling she got me a nice wallet because she sorta spilled the beans hahaha but I played dumb.
I thought of getting her a nice handbag but unfortunatly the one she wants is roughly 1K and that ain’t happening right now.

I’m not sure, my I think my FI got me a diamond bracelet. Get her something that she can use or wear often. The best gift you can give, however, is a heartfelt letter to her on your wedding day.

DH bought me a tahitian pearl & diamond pendant, pretty sure it was 5-700. I wear it all the time.

I found a nice cross at Tiffany’s and well within my budget. Something meaning to the two of us and she could wear this any day of the year.
Check it: http://www.tiffany.com/Shopping/Item.aspx?fromGrid=1&sku=24088421&mcat=&cid=&search_params=s+1-p+4-c+-r+-x+-n+6-ri+-ni+0-t+cross&search=1
We are already going to be writing eachothers vowes so I’m saving all the tear enducing writing for that
Keep the suggestions coming!

I like the diamond earrings idea!
How about a nice wallet for her? (Kate Spade, Louis Vuitton)
Spa day package?

@quailallstar: does she wear perfume? i’ve read and heard that getting a new perfume for your wedding day is a great idea, since that smell will always remind you of that day, because scents are so powerful in recalling memories 🙂

i like the cross a lot. what about this one – and you could put a picture of you and her in it … then write your vows out – really tiny (if you can type it might help) and fold the paper up and stick it inside.

another bee on here got a love letter hand written and another one got a nice card with some heartfelt words and a super fancy bottle of wine (if you’re a wine drinker). I like the card idea. Try to think of something that is unique to her. Maybe a favorite book with a nice inscription inside or something. Otherwise, you may be stuck with diamond studs or bracelet or some kind of jewelry, although I like that idea 🙂 good luck!

If she doesn’t have an “every day necklace” that would be a really nice gift. The cross one from Tiffany’s is pretty though I didn’t look at the dimensions so it might be big to wear all the time. Tiffany’s has a ton of beautiful jewelry.
Since you’re getting married in March, what about something with an aquamarine (March’s birthstone)? Either a pretty bracelet or necklace would be awesome.
Some women also like knick-knacky things (I don’t but I know some that do) and one of my friends got a LLadro figurine of a couple from her DH.

i like the perfume idea. i’m such a fragrance whore, so i would love something like that.
i don’t know if this would fit your situation, but this is what my husband did for me: we were long distance for our entire relationship as a couple (but we were friends for a long time before). he’s in the military and while he was deployed we kept in touch thru e-mail and that’s when/how our relationship really took off. anyway, he made a book out of all our e-mails and used our engagement pictures for the front and back covers and gave it to me. it didn’t cost a lot (we set a limit of around $100, so i know it couldn’t have cost much more than that), it just took some time. i loved it! it’s fun to go thru our messages and see our relationship change from buddies to something more.
