I think this is called a "stole" and it might be ostrich/maribou feathers. Here's something similar : http://www.ostrichfeather.co.uk/ostrichfeather-productdetail/95/jackets-stoles/ostrich-feather/ostrich-marabou-feather-stole-cream-or-black-currently.php
Thanks for the reply!
When I look up stole, they all tie in the front instead on the back : (
I guess I can buy a Boa and try to attach the ribbon ties to it??
Anyone else have any ideas as to where to find this?
Try tulipbridal.com they might have something like this or maybe something better than a boa to tie the straps to.
I actually had one of these custom made and ended up really happy with it. It looks like this is marabou feather. I'm getting married in January and wanted a wrap that would look great in photos. I ended up going with the marabou because I feel like it photographs more lushly then faux fur.(If that makes sense) I liked the fluffy look of feathers.
I think what you have in the pictures is a marabou feather stole that could be tied in front or behind you. I had some trouble locating one I liked, but there were a few on ebay that were reasonably priced. I went with a seamstress that has a workshop in CA, but takes custom orders over her web site www.bbeautydesisgns.com. She was really great to work with, has a ton of colors of marabou to choose from and will also line it with whatever fabric you want. I was really happy with her craftsmanship and her service!
@mwitter80: They actually did have the style I wanted but in lace! Lace with my dress however would not look good. Geese...I am not having luck lol Thank you for the website.
@lithiumribbon: Thanks!
I am going to try and contact them and see what they tell me!
The picture I posted is actually from ebay, but it is real fur (a big no-no for me), used and $200, which is more then I want to spend).
The one in the pic prob ties in the front, but you can just tie it in the back. Yay to no fur!

So I am in love with the "fur" shrug/wrap/shawl thingy but can't seem to find it anywhere!
Anyone know where to purchase something like this? Or what the proper name is?
It doesn't have "sleeves", it kinda just wraps around you.
