can you have cups sewn in? If the dress is fitted, it may "hold" better than a bra (this was the case with my dress, which was strapless and sweetheart, and I'm an A cup also).
Otherwise. check out Calvin Klein bras, I've had a lot of good luck with them, both regular and strapless.
Good luck!
im in the exact same situation- A cup, sweetheart strapless neckline..and am trying to find a padded or pushup something-or-other to wear under my gown : ( I was hoping VS had something but ive been told they dont carry much for women who are smaller
you NEED to get these http://www.nu-bra.com/
(well not those exact ones- because they're much cheaper if you buy the target/walmart ones in the bra section)
My a-cup friend wears them all the time and they give her AWESOME cleavage. I never considered them becuase I thought they would lose their grip with sweating and what not but she convinced me to try them and they aren't going anywhere until you peel them off (i even slept in them all night just to push them to the limit)
The cool thing about them is that you can adjust how much cleavage they give you depending on how far you stick them apart (and then pull them in and clasp together) and you can wear backless, strapless, low cut , whatever, and it all looks great.
have your cups sown into ur dress that is what i did for mine and i was really comfortable...
Thanks for the feedback girls! I actually do have a nubra but I have worn it on hot days and while it doesn't come off it does start to slide a little and you end up losing the cleavage or having to constantly adjust it. I will give it a try when my dress comes in. Also I have had cups sewn into dresses in the past and all it ended up doing was giving me bulk and no cleavage. Maybe when the dress is fitted and tighter it will push them together more lol I have also tried Victoria's Secret and alot of their bras start at B. They do have some A cups but they don't do much in my opinion unless they have a strap to tighten. I am going to look into the Calvin Klein bras! Thanks again
I have A cups and bought this VS bra for a wedding I was in. I have trouble with most strapless bras. They never fit (always too big) and they don't give me the push-up I'm looking for. This bra is AMAZING!
It was more than I usually spend on bras, but so worth it.
VS definately. I think there's a VerySexy convertible one that I have?? It'll add some push up, although it will not be as good as a regular bra. They have it in all sizes (at least they used to). Good luck!
I have had good luck with Gap strapless bras. The weird thing is, though, that they often change the design. I DON'T like the ones that have push-up inserts, but if you find Gap strapless with the gel-type cup, I find it fits A-cups better than the VS multi-way thingy.
I totally know you mean. Strapless bras do nothing for me either. If you go to davids bridal, try on a push up bustier. I think its style 7643. It lifts them up from the bottom, and you will have a nice full shape on the top part of your boobs. It will look great with a sweetheart neckline.
I second Calvin Klein strapless bras. I'm doing that and using cupcakes (gel inserts) that go inside. They stay put, even though they are attached to the bra.

Hello ladies,
My wedding gown is strapless with a sweetheart neckline. I am looking for a strapless bra or a strapless bustier. Normally, a strapless bra does absolutely NOTHING for my A-cups. Does anyone have suggestions on a strapless bra or bustier that can push up and enhance cleavage? Thanks so much!
